Cyber Security Consultant

This role as cybersecurity consultant is responsible for identifying problems, evaluating security issues, assessing risk, and implementing solutions to address threats to a customer’s information networks and systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with cyber-security vendors and customers to provide comprehensive cybersecurity
• Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the customer’s data, systems, and
• Troubleshooting security, network problems and responding to all system and/ or network security
• Ensuring that the organization’s data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security
• Participating in the change management
• Testing and identifying network and system
• Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant
• Undertake necessary training to be abreast with any new security trends in the
• Contribute to solution design, in conjunction with Support and Bids

Requirements (Qualification, Experience and Key Competencies)

• Hold a Tertiary Qualification in Computing Science, Information Systems or a related
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the ICT Security
• Professional IT Vendor Certification – CEH, CCNA, MCSE or similar would be an added
• Knowledge in Email, Antivirus Software Solutions, IT Network & Internet Security Solutions from vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco, Checkpoint, Kaspersky, TrendMicro, ESET or
• Experience with firewalls, SIEM, Office 365, VSX and Endpoint
• Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and working knowledge of hacking
• Experiences in, enterprise network & cloud security, email security systems, Understanding of SIEM, ZTNA, Web application security Analyze
• A clean & valid group 2 driving license is
