Job Overview
This role will be part of our ICT Warranty Support team and will be responsible for managing the warranties provided by Datec (Fiji) Pte Limited. The incumbent will ensure that customers have a positive experience with their warranty and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Discuss the warranty claim and expectations with customers.
- Prepare and process warranty documentation according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Submit claims quickly and efficiently.
- Follow up with manufacturers to ensure claims are being processed properly.
- Adjust and resubmit any denied claims to secure payment for warranty work.
- Keep accurate inventory of ordered warranty parts and organize vendor paperwork.
- Close repair orders and check on the progress of repairs throughout the day.
- Effectively communicate with customers on the status of work.
- Coordinate activities to ensure repair work is fixed right and on a timely basis.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree qualification in Computing Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a help desk technician/warranty officer or other customer support role.
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
