Job Overview
This role will be part of our ICT Delivery Support team and will be responsible to provide support to SLA and Peripheral customers and ensure that the customer service is timely and accurate.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Installing and configuring network printers, copiers, scanners, projectors, plotters, and UPS.
• Provide technical support, manage troubleshooting, maintenance of printers, UPS, and other Peripheral products.
• Attend all service calls, repair, check on the progress of repairs, resolve and close.
• Timely delivery of quality support service to internal and external customers.
• Coordinate activities to ensure repair work is fixed right and on a timely basis.
• Accurately document failure, repair, installation and prepare reports. Effectively communicate with customers on the status of work.
• Prepare and process warranty documentation according to manufacturer guidelines and submit claims. Discuss the warranty claim and expectations with customers.
• Follow up with manufacturers to ensure claims are being processed properly.
• Accurately keep inventory of ordered warranty parts.
• Assist Pre-Sales and Sales Team on (request for tenders, quotes, proposals, and expression of interest) opportunities.
• Planning and undertaking of scheduled UPS and printer installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Ability to lift and carry, transport equipment parts and boxes.
Key Requirements:
• Tertiary Qualification in Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or a related
• Minimum of 3 years field experience.
• Power and Peripherals vendor certifications for Eaton, APC, HP, Brother, Samsung, Lexmark, Epson and DataCard will be added advantage.
• Good understanding of Power Systems & Peripherals, and other tech products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools for report writing, analysis, project management and ability to meet deadlines will be added advantage.
• A clean and valid Group 2 driving license.
