Job Overview
This role will be responsible to design, architect, and implement innovative and effective solutions to meet the organisations strategic objectives by collaborating with various departments, stakeholders, and external vendors to identify technology needs and develop strategies to enhance business processes, improve efficiency, and drive growth. Responsible for translating customer needs and technology opportunities into a commercially viable ICT infrastructure and Cybersecurity Solution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead the Technical Pre-sales and Cybersecurity team in designing solutions to fulfil clients ICT requirements.
• Accountable and responsible for designing and facilitating an effective ICT Enterprise, Storage, Servers, Network Switching, and Routing, Cybersecurity: Defense-in-Depth, EDR/XDR/MDR, SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, SIEM, IAM, MDM, and Cloud Solutions for stakeholders.
• Vendor and Product Management for stakeholder relationships, partner-level programs, competencies, and revenue fulfillment (Dell, HPE, VMware, Veeam, Cisco, SonicWall, Fortinet, Forcepoint, Microsoft Azure, AWS and more).
• Work with ICT vendors and partners to determine the right solutions for the client.
• Provide solution Architecture, Design, and Techno-Commercial Responses to Customer EOIs and RFXs (RFQs, RFTs, and RFPs).
• Acquire necessary vendor certification and training to support the ICT technical Pre-sales and bids team and be abreast with the current ICT technology trends and solutions.
• Project Management for assigned projects of ICT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Managed Services.
• Prepare and carry out presentations of the proposed solutions to the clients.
• Assist in preparing ICT and Cybersecurity Governance Framework with IT policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in technology solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
• Implement security measures to protect the organization’s data and systems.
Key Requirements:
• Hold a Degree in Computing Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in ICT Enterprise Infrastructure design, deployment, project management, and consulting or delivery role within the ICT service industry.
• Professional IT Vendor Certification – CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, CISM, Microsoft Azure Security and Solutions Architect, Cisco, Dell products, Lenovo products, or similar would be an added advantage.
• Well-versed in configuring Microsoft Software products such as Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP & Exchange.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Windows Operating systems, Backup & DR Software Solutions such as Veeam, Arcserve, or similar.
• Knowledge of IT Network and Internet Security Solutions from vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco, Checkpoint or similar.
• Have strong interpersonal skills, time management, communications & presentation skills.
