Job Overview
This role will join our ICT Sales Bid team and will be responsible for tender response and documentation, presentation, and technical support of ICT Infrastructure Solutions, that includes Information, Backup, Networking and Security Products, from leading ICT vendors in partnership with Datec.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supporting Pre-sales and Sales team maximizing productivity and profit for quality tender response.
• Proactively scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assess customer needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for all stakeholders.
• Secure input from all necessary solution stakeholders and adapt solutions necessary to ensure appropriate solution is archived.
• Coordinate closely with sales, support and solution architecture team. Align solution design with customer business requirements with delivery service resources.
• Monitor customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process and alert the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
• Undertake necessary technical training to be abreast with the new ICT Technology trends and training requirements.
• Proficient with Office and Design tools for quality proposal. Good understanding about scope of works and project management.
Key Requirements:
• Hold Diploma or Degree qualification in Computing Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Professional Services, Technical Sales, ICT infrastructure deployment, integration, system migration, project management and support.
• Professional IT Certification – Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, Dell, HP, Lenovo Products or similar would be an added advantage.
• Well versed in configuring Microsoft Software Products such as Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP & Exchange, and knowledge in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
• Knowledge in Backup & DR Software Solutions such as Veeam, Arcserve or similar.
• Knowledge in IT Network & Internet Security Solutions from vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco, Checkpoint or similar.
• Knowledge in Antivirus Software Solutions from vendors such as Carbon Black, McAfee, TrendMicro, ESET or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools for report writing, analysis, project management and ability to meet deadlines.
• A clean and valid Group 2 driving license is mandatory.
