Job Overview
This role will be responsible for end-to-end website development including coding, innovative designing, and layout of websites, building websites from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, creating everything from the home page to site layout and function. The developer will collaborate with back-end developers to ensure the website is optimized for various devices and visually appealing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain existing websites, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
• Develop new websites using platforms like WordPress, Joomla, and Sitefinity.
• Utilize PHP/.NET language for technical aspects of website and eCommerce development.
• Design mocks, prototype designs and ensure mobile responsiveness.
• Engage with clients from the initial sales phase through requirements gathering until project delivery.
• Ensure a smooth transition from project development to the website going live.
• Manage and support Service Level Agreement (SLA) customers, addressing their needs promptly and effectively.
• Handle domain registration and renewals for clients.
• Install and renew SSL certificates to ensure website security.
• Generate project billings and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Work on tenders or Expression of Interest (EOI) for web development projects.
• Manage Apache/Windows Server for hosting environments.
• Manage and support SharePoint for customers, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
• Holds Degree in Computer Science & Information Systems, Web Development, or relevant field.
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in similar role.
• Proficiency in one or more of the Programming Languages – C#, HTML5, Angular, CSS3, Visual Basic .NET or any other industry leading programming languages.
• Knowledge on UI/UX principles.
• Knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, or Bootstrap for front-end development.
• Knowledge of Database Management Systems, including SQL and MySQL.
• Abreast with emerging technology trends and apply them to operations and activities.
• Have strong presentation skills, negotiation, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
