Job Overview

This role will be responsible to provide support activities for clearance and delivery of goods to Datec’s end customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare Purchase Orders and send to the vendors.
• Track and plan shipments and ensure that goods arrive on time to the end customers.
• Manage inventory levels and correctly record the stocks.
• Ensure timely submission of customs clearance documents to the respective authority.
• Keep track of quality, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Receive shipments and verify items with the invoices.
• Prepare costing of all goods ordered.
• Prepare and issue billings to customers.
• Analyse and prepare month end reports and other relevant reports.
• Assist in stock-takes and setup of the Warehouse.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting and Finance, Customs, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year field experience
• Sound knowledge of relevant laws, rules, regulations, and other requirements governing the purchase and clearance of commodities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools for report writing, analysis, project management and ability to meet deadlines will be added advantage.
• A clean and valid Group 2 driving license
